Every time i watch that show, i end up dying for macaroons and sponges and meringues. It all looks so delightful!

Right? I made a list of the things I want to make after watching it. It is two pages long.

I'm dying to try macaroons, but omg, so complicated. I found a French patisserie in the 'big' city a couple hours from us, so next time we road-trip..... :)

Yeah, they look so hard. I couldn't even make proper eclairs. :(

Are they the famous 'choux' pastry? Those 'nun' constructions always seem a bit much.

I was watching an old episode the other day and they were making Victorian raised game pies. OMG, they looked so tasty.

Yeah! It was just too eggy tasting and wet inside. I don't know what I did wrong. I want to make something with cherry in it! Maybe cherry and chocolate challah.

Well, they do say you have to put a hole in that kind of pastry when you take it out of the oven, to let the steam out so it dries. It's all so complicated!
