So Blade Runner 2 is getting great reviews...

Though Jared Leto is apparently the weakest part of the movie.

Is anyone going to be seeing it? And what did you think of the first one?

I never saw the first one either, or at least not the whole thing. I was at the drive-in and got into a fight with my then-boyfriend so we left. (He was such a jerk.) And in other news I'm hella old!

But I do want to see the sequel. I just hope I can watch the first one first.

I've seen two versions and hated it. I was looking forward to the sequel, but I heard if you don't like the first one, you won't like this one.

I don't know. It's tough. I'm thinking about it. I love the original and it looks pretty good, but I also just really really hate Jared Leto. So I'm going to have to think about it.

I've never seen it.

It's one of those films that I keep thinking about watching but ultimately it hasn't interested me enough to sit down and try tbh.

I am so torn. I loved the original, but i detest Gosling, so.....

I'll probably go see it, maybe on a cheap day.

I really like Ryan Gosling in almost everything he's in, but I also didn't like the original Blade Runner very much.

Thought the original was boring, think the new one looks boring, and I try to avoid supporting Jared Leto's film career on the principle that he annoys me and is not a good enough actor to keep getting cast in the roles he gets cast in. So... probably not.
