Guess it comes with monster territory: most of the seem to, according to popular media. (I'm looking at you Edward Cullen, Zombie boyfriend, Swamp thing, Alien/Predator, Frankenstein, I could go on...)

In the Jackson version it was mostly because she could juggle.

i liked the Jackson version better for several reasons, one of which was the fact that it seemed to be a metaphor for a friendship between two people from very different cultures (definitely NOT the case with the original!)

At least they're both primates. Makes more sense than Hutt/human.
