I am honestly shocked the chicken was made to be the animal companion and not the cute pig. Though, I really wish we could get a Disney movie without a cute animal companion. Has there every been one?

The vegetation was awesome. Especially in the final part when Te Fiti was restoring the earth.

Yeah, I enjoyed the OST but I would would only rank it in the top 10. The Lion King is my favorite Disney soundtrack of all time.

I agree, all the chicken did was scream, lol! The pig would've made a better companion for sure. And I'm wracking my brain and can't think of a single Disney movie that doesn't have an animal in it.

I forgot to mention the lava, I liked that animation.

And I still remember Hakuna Matata From LK and Friend Like Me from Aladdin, although I've only seen it a couple of times, but I can't really remember any of the music from Moana. I guess it just wasn't catchy enough?

I googled it and I don't recall an animal companion in Snow White or Peter Pan. But I've not seen those movies in forever!

Hmm, Snow White didn't have a specific animal companion but she was often ~frolicking with forest animals! As for Pete Pan, the only animal I remember was the crocodile that was out to get Captain Hook!

I mean, he acted like a real chicken, so I appreciated it way more than the typical human-like companion that's there just to be cute.

Eh, I just found him annoying. He was good comedy relief, tho.
