Well, he's a sexy vampire with shallow-angst. Oh, and apparently, he sparkles when exposed to sunlight. Makes the anime soap-bubbles and rose petals seem downright plausible by comparison.

I swear to God Edward sparkles in the sun. I always get a kick out of it when people think that it was just some internet joke, because... haha, nope, canon.

haha I know right! It's really embarrassing when people ask me to explain about the vampires in Twilight and I'm like "Yeah they sparkle in the sun" and then I sort of die from embarrassment cause I can't even believe I'm in this fandom! =P Also- I LOVE that icon! It's awesome! :)

That's exactly what I said--I thought it was just another word for fluffy or shallow-girly. No. In Twilight-world, the reason a vampire can't go out into sunlight is not because they burst into flames, but because it causes them to sparkle like the Hope Diamond.

I sigh a little bit more when I find yet another person who's a fan.
