102) Okay, seriously, there are people here who ship the most random crap things imaginable: Characters who never meet in canon, characters who are ridiculously underage, characters who don't even have gender, and you are having a hard time with characters who spend huge amounts of time together and bicker like a happily married couple? It's perfectly okay to love them to death as friends, but it really takes no imagination at all to see why people actually ship them.

104) Whatever helps you to do the right thing is A-okay in my book.

123) Enjoy the rush, girl. Enjoy your boyfriend. Fandom will still be here when honeymoon excitement is over, and the long, comfortable, pleasant but somewhat boring period of mature love sets in. Don't waste it.

169) Stick to fics rated PG-13! Problem solved. Seriously, though, everyone faces this problem: There just aren't enough fics that suit our specific tastes. Doesn't matter if your tastes are for lovey dovey fics, or hard core kink, or plotty adventures, or canon couples. There's just not enough good fics period.

Ditto. In fact, I can find a decent PG-13 fics far easier than a NC-17 one. But I'm not surprised the ratio of good stuff to the so-so to shit stuff is tiny to large. This reflect literature as a whole.
