Those fantasy schools full of adventure and mystery and shenanigans?

I seriously just want to follow New Hire into the shenanigans of magical bureaucracy full of adventure and mystery.

Like. The story of how the journey to the copy machine used to involve sacrifice and a duel of honor until FREAKING SUSAN (Susan with the hair, not Susan with the awful shoes) had to go file for worker's comp and ruin it all.

It's not an adult version, but you might be interested: The Charlie Bone book series is really good! I breezed right through the series when I was in my teens. I've picked up the books in my recent adult years, and still found them enjoyable. :)

Dead Like Me runs on a premise similar to this (Grim reapers are basically office workers)
