The entire cast of Netflix's Death Note was a horrible choice, with the exception of Willem Dafoe as Ryuk and possibly the guy who played L (he had potential, but the character was butchered by the script anyway).

Gah dammit, I KNOW it's gonna be bad but Dafoe is just so great at being creepy AND I love the guy they cast as L because of Atlanta, so against my own will I'm so tempted!!

I kinda liked the girl they cast for Mia, but they should've done more with her character. Ryuk and L were cast pretty well, but Ryuk should've shown up more and L's character shouldn't have been derailed like that.
