Re: Do you think you're better than the average?
(Anonymous) 2017-10-03 03:03 am (UTC)(link)I have decent flexibility, but being a tip-toe walker in my childhood fucked up my achilles so there's that. Not enough to warrant surgery, but enough that there are a lot of simple things I'll never be able to do, like squat with flat feet.
My memory is terrible. If it's not well below average, then I'm impressed civilization has come so far. If it happened more than a couple years ago, it may as well have never happened it's so dang fuzzy. A few strong impressions stay, usually of things I'd rather forget, but I'll hear one of my friends talk about something we did when we were twelve like it was yesterday and it's like... "Wow, I had no idea!"
I'm way more avoidant than the average person, I think. Difficult situations, confrontations, large jobs, time-consuming activities... I procrastinate, and avoid, and dig in my heels, and do my best mule impression.
I can't clean for shit. Definitely far below average there. My ironing is laughable, my folding is serviceable at best, dusting tends to get done when I see more cobwebs than corners, etc. Half the time I forget floors need cleaned. The kitchen counters are immaculate, though!
