Agreed, especially for fictional porn.

Not that real sex is 'depressing' but the 'omg they didnt use a condom everybody pragnent think of safe sex habitsa nd the chidren hdu orgasm at the same time' crowd is especially annoying.

Porn is interesting for me because I find I prefer smut that feels real, with positions that actually work in real life and women not orgasming as readily as men and such and even sometimes some premature ejaculation...but I also hate hate hate exactly what you're talking about.

I also hate fics that go overboard with affirmative consent, and have the characters "checking in" every couple of paragraphs. I read a fic recently that could have been hot had the action not been constantly interrupted with, "is it okay if I kiss your stomach? You can say no if you want, I promise I won't mind. Is it okay if I touch your clit? Again, it's perfectly fine if you say 'no.'"

Granted that's some people's thing, so hey, what are you gonna do. I'll show myself out.

I don't mind porn like that existing at all, that's somebody's kink probably. Or at least their awkward and obvious attempt to virtue signal. Smut that feels real that's meant to feel real is cool. Smut that sounds like an 80s' after school special is cool if that's actually what someone's into. I can easily not read it if I don't want to!

It's when people complain about porn that is clearly fantasy being clearly fantasy that it annoys me. Or that they're "tired of unrealistic smut because omg none of it works like that in reality" while being totally okay with IDK demon hunters and magic and all that. But they gotta have realistic sex!
