I too would like some good monster/human love stories!!!

Books:
Mrs. Caliban by Laura Ingalls.
There is mention of abuse; Nouveau Swamp Man and Unhappy Housewife find each other and themselves. Social Commentary/feminist reading, if I'm not mistaken.

Wintersong by Jae S. Jones
~Not sure if it's a full on Monster, as the love interest is the Goblin King (there are moments where he appears to be more of a monster than a man). Inspired by Labyrinth and a few other fairy tales...I really enjoyed it. And there is much talk of music! And goblins!
