(Some) Fans of the ship are obnoxious.
Age gap.
Power imbalance - he's her teacher.
He's verbally abusive towards her.
He was/is bigoted towards muggles/muggle-born.
But really, those pretty much hold for Snape/Harry too, which does get hate, but it's not the same, so maybe there's also misogyny in there, too. I honestly mostly don't care what other people ship and I think a lot of people are like that, but some feel the need to proclaim their hate.
