Re: Writing thread!

I've got several things I'm working on, but I've had no muse lately. The one I want to work on is a super dark fic, and I'm in the right mood for it, but I just can't seem to write. I've got the entire plot planned out, but the words won't go down on the page.

I'm thinking about doing more research for it, though. Maybe that will help. It is a Sauron in Numenor fic, so I've already done research on Aztec and Celtic rituals. But I'm going to see if I can find some more stuff.

I think maybe it is hard to write from a villain's POV sometimes for me? Like, figuring out how to write awful things and yet from the perspective of the villain who loves them and is turned on by them. And who, at this period in time, is just lost in his darkness and indulging every single evil desire he's ever had. How do I write that? Ugh. But I want to write it.
