Yeah, I think that's true. When Killing Stalking kind of unexpectedly skyrocketed into popularity, it naturally received quite a bit of backlash, too, largely as being just twisted S&M porn - so I can understand that some fans get defensive and stress the characterization and plot. Honestly, the plot is a little weak in season 2, but there's also hardly any porn in it. I'd say it works better as a character drama than anything, but mostly, it is what it is and that's okay, I guess. I don't think it has much of an agenda - definitely not porn, but also not mental health awareness or anything like that. It's just a story, and that's okay.
