Honestly my list of things I'd rather they weren't into would be far, far longer. I'm ok with not sharing all the same interests, I just don't want to date/marry someone I find creepy or mean.

I don't find "practical jokes" funny. I don't like people who get a big charge out of mocking others or who judge feminists/protestors/LGBT people/Christians or other religious people all by the same broad and negative brush. Feels like bandwagon hatred and it says a lot about the person in my opinion.

I don't honestly know if I could date or marry someone who was really into horror, porn (especially the more violent stuff), or a huge sports fan.

Have to be kind, not an extremely loud person in general, and like and be kind to animals. Liking books is a plus, but not necessary. I don't care about most TV or movies either way, if it's not hateful or really creepy.

Not someone who gets a kick out of the things that make me sad or takes joy in people hurting, 'getting what they deserve,' etc. Not a gun nut. And at this point, almost certainly not a Republican (though I'd never have said that in the past).
