Not that it's similar to TNG overall, but that the overall production and visual aesthetics and stuff are similar to TNG.

That's how it felt to me anyway.

I swear the guest quarters set was directly swiped from TNG.

If anything, that's why it annoyed me so much. The visuals were very TNG, but the content was so... cheap. It pissed me off, because the comparison was not a good one imo.

This is exactly how I felt. The visuals were to unoriginal (and not in a good way this sort of parody should be) and the content was cheap and not funny.
