Sadly, I don't think this counts as horror. I've looked at IMDB, Wikipedia, Metacritic, The Scoobypedia, and Rottentomatoes. It is an Action-Comedy Family movie.

I have been making a list of movie themes. I am going to add "Adaptations of other medias" so you can nominate it again. :D

I'd recommend specifying adaptations of medias "that aren't most famous as the movie" to that, so we don't get recs like The Godfather or Streetcar Named Desire which were based off books and plays but where the movie is 1000x more famous and known

That is a good theme though
