Ugh, drunks

My dad drives me CRAZY when he's drunk. He's loud and overbearing, and he interrupts every conversation to ask what's going on because he was only half listening (and wasn't involved anyway) and so every time you try to say something, you have to stop in the middle of it and repeat or explain something to him. And will not stop. Ugh.

Like, I'm trying to talk to my mom, but the minute he realizes someone is talking, he loudly interrupts so we can stop talking and explain to him what we were talking about. And he just won't go upstairs.

From someone with one drunk and one drug addict parent (RIP) to the both of 'em; sorry you (and your mom) are dealing with his crap. Has this been a lifelong thing for your dad? Hopefully he'll go sleep it off soon so you get a break.
