I see you've not been on the tumblr recently. IT is the woobie now.

As a huge fan of Hemlock Grove seasons 1 and 1/2, I can get behind this.

That show was a hot mess but it had some really good characters.

Hnnnng, same. I've never watched season 3 and don't plan to ever do it after spoiling myself (wtf were they thinking???).
Season 1 was one of the few things where I'd say the series was superior to the book (which I also quite like).

So do you want everyone on FS to start listing relatively obscure actors with upcoming projects that are getting good press, or are you going to tell us who this is? Maybe he has fans on FS you can comiserate with. And honestly, every actor (and actress) who makes it into the big time, and plenty of actors who don't, is gonna have scary fans.

I've gone through this with two actors and don't really watch their stuff anymore. Some of it was the fandom side of things but mostly it was because both actors started taking on roles in things I wouldn't watch if they weren't in them. I tried with the first one to keep watching his stuff but I didn't like any of it and lost total interest in him. They both also changed a lot in how they respond to their fans, which is understandable, but was also a bit off putting.

But I think you're pretty cool for not getting all " i saw him first" about it. I still get like that on occasion, but I'm pretty much over it (the person was never mine to begin with, as were the chances of seeing them IRL anyway).

Well, no. There's nothing that says secrets need to be 100% explicit and we're not necessarily entitled to know every detail. You might be disappointed not to find out, but throwing a tantrum about it is embarrassing.

And things like the FS police is why FS is dying.

I don't know about anyone else, but every time I see someone get all stompy about a vague secret, I make a note to myself to make another vague secret!
