1. I didn't realize the ending was so goofy with the voice over! I also never realized that the kid stole Gizmo from to sell it. I still loved the movie by the end. Since I've seen this before I really didn't have a huge change in opinion!

2. Gizmo is my favorite. He is such a gentle soul but a total badass. We loved him so much as a kid, our first dog was named after him! Obviously Mrs. Deagle is my least favorite. She is such a horrid person and reminds me a lot of Mr. Potter from It's A Wonderful Life.

3. I think my favorite might be when the gremlins are being born. It is such a creepy scene and the music is great. I also love when the Gremlins are in the bar paying poker and acting like assholes. My least favorite scene was when Mrs. Deagle died. I know I was supposed to find it funny but I just found it sad.

4. This score is such an iconic one. It is able to beautifully combine the horror and humor aspects of the movie. It is so much fun to listen to.

5. It isn't the greatest. It definitely looks like a movie of its time. Nothing spectacular but not horrible either.

I feel it would be horrible not to mention how amazing the puppetry and stop motion. I mean, just look at this.

The puppetry and stop motion has aged so much better than CGI does though.

It really depends on the CGI, Jurassic Park is over 30 years old and still looks really good!

But they used animatronics for large portions of it.

I think most animatronics from that time were also sort of puppets as well.

Yeah, the puppets and anamatronics were brilliant. like, labyrinth levels of good. They really had character. More character than the human actors anyway.

The only human actor I really liked was the mom. She got shit done.

This is true, but she's in it for so little of the film. I think she had the same amount of screen time as the xenophobic snowplough dude.

I liked her too! The way she picked up that knife and went after the gremlin was just so badass.
