Well this is late but still:

I'm aromantic and it's not that I don't want to be in a relationship, it's more of I don't mind not being in a relationship. I feel as with being asexual (which I also am) it's pretty much a spectrum anyway? I don't feel sexual attraction and am sex repulsed. Some aces don't feel sexual attraction but are quite fine with sleeping with their partners. Strong platonic feelings are a thing and romantic love isn't the only thing that qualifies as the 'love of your life'.

Also OP if you're reading this: I thought I hated the idea of marriage and am quite fine living by myself until I die, but I did find someone that I do love and whom I want to spend my life with. She knows I'm aro and is perfectly fine with being in a queerplatonic relationship. We're gonna be married soon. So hopefully you find your one true love too! <3
