I don't know about down to earth, but there's something to be said for making a choice to prioritize living well with your family over being right in the thick of the industry.

On the other hand if he's doing these huge blockbusters he probably doesn't need to live in hollywood for his career, and he might not even see his family as much as he'd like anyway. I don't know how busy he is other than the MCU movies..
