On a similar note, people who see a sneak peek of something and automatically seem to assume that they know exactly how the movie (or episode of a TV show) will play out, or can determine with absolute certainty that the thing in question will be good or bad. Yes, the sneak peeks and trailers obviously invite speculation, but sometimes they don't always tell the whole story, sometimes promos can be misleading, etc. Actually watching the thing in question is the only surefire way to see whether your opinions and assumptions about it will be right or wrong.

Yes. Especially since some studios have caught on to this and have made scenes JUST for trailers/sneak peeks or edited scenes to look like they are related.
