Re: Things you straight up don’t get

I never said I like overcooked steak or roast beef? I don't get where these assumptions are coming from.

Idk what it is, but something about rare beef just hurts. And for the anons who also commented, the meat is never tough. It's always soft and THAT's why I find it difficult. Dunno what it is, but it being soft makes it harder on my jaw. More cooked beef tends to go down in a few bites, but beef cooked rare? Takes me an age for some reason.

These assumptions are coming from standard human experience because soft = harder to chew is... definitely not something a lot of us can relate to.

Gotta agree with the anon above me, soft = harder to chew is definitely not something I've ever experienced. A lot of the time with a really good, rare stake, people even say things like, "Oh my god, it's so tender you practically don't even have to chew it."

Hi, this is late but I just wanted to say that you are not alone. For some reason when I try to eat rare beef I just end up chewing and chewing and chewing (and some times end up retching). I just cannot stand the consistensy of it. Anything less cooked than medium is just a no go.

I think the beginning of this comment is weirdly defensive.
