If you want. The dictionary defines it as "hatred, dislike, or mistrust of women, or prejudice against women." and while I don't hate or dislike women, the mistrust (and therefore prejudice) part is certainly true.

Feelings that have their roots in abuse, but certain parts of the internet repeatedly told me they couldn't possibly be valid, because no woman would abuse another woman how dare I suggest anything else.

Real life experiences influencing one's media intake is not something uncommon either, so it's not surprising I'd rather skip all those strong female characters.
