DA, but yeah, Karen is kind of an annoying dumbass.

It's like the writers wanted her to be a Strong Female Character, and they decided the way to show that is by having her go around cavalierly charging into situations that risk her life and the lives of others (despite not having any qualifications whatsoever that would make her equipped to deal with what she's getting into), and then having her "not need," and be annoyed by, male protection. Except that she clearly and obviously does need it, in this case. So basically all this stuff accomplishes is making her seem like an annoying, self-involved dumbass.

I love well-written female characters of all kinds. But Karen is just incredibly annoying.
