OK.

You make me want to watch this movie just for her -- not as attraction, but inspiration!

I'm not attracted to her throughout the movie. But in that red outfit? Amazing. I think the first time I watched Aladdin was actually the first time I was ever attracted to a woman, though I wasn't aware of it at the time.

I'm not attracted to Jasmine, I always just wanted to BE her. None of the other of the Disney Princesses are anywhere near as switched on as her.

I dunno, Meg in Hercules sees through much of the bullshit, so does Esmerelda.

NARYT but they aren't princesses.

lol

It just struck me, but I just love how Arab she actually looks. The long, doopy nose, the shape of her eyes, color of her skin, eyebrows that thick in 1992. This wasn't an era where political correctness was as important as it is now, so I'm happy Disney still didn't make her look like a white woman with black hair and a tan.

Seconded. I'm Jewish and I look exactly like her, and getting Princess Jasmine comments has made me feel better about my nose, brows, jaw, etc.

As I recall, her designer was Middle Eastern and based Jasmine's looks after his sister. <3

She was the first girl I (a girl) had a crush on as a kid too, how can you not? <3
