Darkling, I Listen by you_light_the_sky – A long supernatural fairytale horror AU. Takes place in a world where humanity fights an ongoing war against witches and demons. Meanwhile, a sinister fog has long ago blocked out the sun, and the earth is plagued by “dead zones” – dark places where no human life can survive. John returns from Afghanistan broken, and when Harry disappears into the dead zone that used to be London, he faces almost certain death by going in after her. Note: This fic was stalled for like two years before the author came back and finished it. I actually haven't gone back to finish reading it yet, so I can't vouch for whether it ends well and is a satisfying read. The first three quarters were pretty good, though.

The first two were fantastic! There is an oddly large amount of slenderman fic in Sherlock.

Glad you liked them! And yeah, there is quite a lot, isn't there? Though I haven't read most of them, because darkfic can really fuck me up sometimes. (I over-invest in the characters and then horrible things happen to them and I'm like, Nooooo why did I do this to myself??!)
