Sort of Turning a Pairing on its head...sort of gen?

Does anyone have any recs for fics that have any of the following:

1) older man/younger woman pairing
2) villian/ hero
3) Takes 1 or 2 and plays around with the dynamics (power imbalances, questioning life choices, etc.)

Smut is not required, I just want to read about two people who shouldn't be together / work together effectively do just that, with the tables turned in unexpected ways, or they find themselves questioning their l8ves/the nature of their relationship.
