SoCal here and I don’t have AC, but it only got to 95 today. Blech. I just want rain. A lot of rain, and I’m dreading my water bill, but even just dropping the daytime high 20 degrees would be a start. Some of my sweet peas are frying in the heat the minute they poke up out of the dirt, and I just spent half an hour getting water into my perennially sick chicken so she wouldn’t die of heatstroke in the night. Fucking climate change deniers, especially the ones in office, should be staked out in the desert without water.
