The way I heard it the second fic was cannibal-mermaid Hamilton RPS fanfic. I don't know why that's super-problematic rather than just extremely weird and a bit skeevy, but knowing tumblr I can guess.

Only in fandom would a phrase like, "cannibal-mermaid Hamilton RPS fanfic" not be the product of some AI language bot run amok.

I'm tempted to ask for an explanation about why cannibal-mermaid Hamilton fanfic is more problematique than Founding Fathers fanfic in general, and where fandom gets its high horse for criticizing it, but then I realize that it probably isn't worth it.

I found the fic and it wasn't RPF - at least not in the sense that it's about the Hamilton cast/Lin Manuel Miranda like I saw people claiming. It's RPF in the same sense that Hamilton itself is technically historical RPF, I guess.

That makes it especially weird to tack on. It's like... Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter fandom tacking on RPF to some fics that aren't about the cast.
