Just heard from dad that they're keeping her overnight because the doctor suspects gastrointestinal bleeding. My aunt is staying with her.

Oh damn, best of luck to your mom and to you and your family. I know “try to get some sleep” sounds like impossible advice, but if it’s night where you are, and you’re not actually at the hospital (or even if you were, those travel neck pillows make ER chairs bearable) you’ll be way more functional come morning.

I'm so sorry. My mom had a similar issue once (also due to bloodthinners) and they were able to treat it successfully and she was back home a couple of days later. I hope everything works out well for your family!
