I agree! American Gods sucked. Why, precisely, was I supposed to give a fuck? Ugh. I mean, it wasn't that bad, but combined with all the hype I was so disappointed.

Even though on the whole I like Neil Gaiman and a lot of his work, I have to agree with this. I hated American Gods.

Heh, American Gods is the only thing Gaiman's done that I've liked. Everything else was paper-thin and boring, IMO.

I think American Gods is something you either love or hate. All of my family has read it, and my mom and sister hated it, but me, my brother, and my dad all loved it. -shrug-

American Gods were fine, but the next person who'll say that Gaiman revolutionized comics will... no, no graphic descriptions. Well he surely revolutionized comics for YOU if the last comic you read was a fucking DONALD DUCK . Oh, and I don't mean that Donald Duck comics are bad. Far from it.
