111: That's creepy. xD After I finished watching the first season, this guy in the town next to me got tortured (penis cut off and a bunch of other things I forget) and didn't die but was close to it. The guy who did it was supposedly really nuts and is in some hospital now. This literally happened the next day. It was weird.

132: This is why I love fandom. Some people might brag that they donate to charity, that they have an awesome job, or other such nice things. In fandom, people brag they watch actual gay porn.

137: To me, it's not the Edward part. It's the Bella part. Even though Edward says he really could kill her, imagines it, Bella doesn't really bat an eye. She does not worry about her safety BUT! She feels oh so sorry for him. She never even questions her own love for him. She never thinks about her safety because her love for him is so very deep and lasting. That's what makes it unhealthy. He goes into her house to watch her sleep before they're together! What's her biggest worry? About getting older and that she isn't good enough for Edward. Who cares if a vampire was breaking into her house to watch her sleep, he's so handsome! And we're supposed to find this sweet and beautiful? That's messed up. I've read a bunch of shoujo and yeah, there's been worse relationships. I'm not saying Edward/Bella is THE worst ever. It isn't. But it is not healthy.

I never thought of it like that. Now you mention it, it is truly inspirational!

I read Twilight for the first time (for the lulz) last month and when I got to that part about him breaking into her house to watch her sleep, I could not believe that people just ignored that. I mean, I can believe it, but it should be unbelievable. Edward is a stalker and controlling (I haven't been able to get through the other two, but I've skimmed and he also does things like steal her car parts so she can't go anywhere), and Bella accepts it without question. That's not healthy.

Thank you. He broke into her house to do it, too. Same guy claiming there are times he wants to kill her. How sweet. I know I want my boyfriend to display such utterly stalker-ish qualities too. Nothing better than wondering if I'm ever truly alone.
