Otherkin aren't people who want to be a fictional character, they're the ones who believe they somehow really are a fictional character, or are deeply connected to them to the point of being this world's alternate version of that character. That said, it's no big to want to be someone else. I think almost everyone goes through that at some point.

Gay porn in fiction does it for me, slash doujinshi and art does too, I like the plots in those when I can find them a LOT, but seeing real life men is just utterly uninteresting for me.

On the other, if I like about someone, I tend to gush at them about the things I like- while trying to make sure "this isn't boring you, right? just tell me to shut up if you want D:"- because I want to share things I like with my friends. It'd be a lot more so with someone I loved, I can tell you that. Maybe he just wants to share something he loves with the girl he loves? Think of it that way, and it might be easier to listen. ;)

132. Seriously. Sometimes I even like shows like Queer as Folk or some real guys kissing. But aside from that, no. Keep it above the waist, boys. I do not want to see anything below that.

Oh yeah! For some reason, I think kissing is always hot, no matter the gender. Some other things too. But the real-life male form isn't especially attractive to me, and I think penii look kind of ridiculous so they especially do nothing for me (besides amuse me sometimes, when I'm in a Mood or looking at particularly lolarious porn artz XD).

I'm partial to same-sex kisses; straight kisses don't really do it for me, but I don't mind them. But yeah, penises (penii? I suck at the double-i plurals) look very ridiculous and I am not interested in seeing them.

Straight kisses and even straight real-life porn are cool for me, but I notice I focus on the female involved to the point of almost ignoring the male. ;; I'M A LITTLE WEIRD but it works for me, so I don't really stress about it. (I mostly spell it penii just because that word amuses me so. Most double-i plurals sound silly to me. XD)

No, I do the same! The rare times I watch straight porn (softcore though), I can tune out the male, and he's just a means for me to focus on the female involved enjoying herself, and so it's not my first choice but it works.

I'm sorry if I misread. If you do know annoying fans, ones that won't shut up about something, yes, I can see why that annoys you. And if you tried his stuff, and didn't like it, I don't care that you don't like it. Some people don't. If everyone liked the same things, it'd be boring. But even looking at your secret again, the entirety of what you said was "Sandman sux and Neil Gaiman is so overrated, Gaiman fans are so annoying!" So yes, as a Gaiman fan, I resent being called annoying simply because I enjoy someone's books, when the only example you're giving is Sandman- which, as I understand, is one of his more "love it or hate it" things. It came across as mockery for fans of an author simply because you don't like one of his series.

That said, my points remain the same. I didn't know what you were trying to say with that secret, because you didn't state clearly what you really meant. Now that you've clarified, I do know. If it had been a simple matter of you not liking Neil Gaiman and therefore deciding all of his fans sucked because he's "so overrated" (which IS what it sounded like), then my advice to just leave his stuff alone and be nice enough to leave his fans alone would still stand. And since your secret literally read, "His fans are annoying, I hate this series, he's overrated," it might have been a leap to assume you'd only read Sandman, but it wasn't much of one- and notice I said if there, because I wasn't completely sure. That paragraph really only applies if you had been doing that. And I stand by the belief that doing that- only trying Sandman, then deciding all of his stuff sucks to the point of hating his fans- would have been presumptuous and immature.

As it is, I hope you get where I was coming from? And I'm sorry for jumping to conclusions, but it seems the secret you stated is actually pretty different from the secret you wanted to state. The fans you know were way too pushy and overblown about it and spoiled what little enjoyment you might have gotten out of his works, and you find him overrated- and that's okay. I sincerely hope that the fanbrats, not just of his but of every series, calm the heck down around you.

(Also, you may have noticed, I tend to tl;dr when I have a major opinion about something- it's really not because I'm a Gaiman fan, I do this to every series every once in a while- it's because I fail like that. ;;)

It's not that I feel like I can only like them one way. I like them as lovers, I like them as rivals, and I love them as friends (hell, I wouldn't love them as friends as much if they weren't also rivals; it pretty much determines their entire dynamic). It's just that I feel bad for shipping them because I doubt they'd appreciate it if they knew their fans wanted them to be fucking. I can't stop imagining what they would think of me if they knew.

Lame phobia is lame, hence the secrecy. Sorry for the confusion.
