HOUSE OF CARDS IS KILLED
(Anonymous) 2017-10-31 12:50 am (UTC)(link)Re: HOUSE OF CARDS IS KILLED
(Anonymous) 2017-10-31 12:57 am (UTC)(link)But there have been similar rumors about Kevin Spacey for years. And someone like a Netflix executive is well-placed to be aware of those rumors, and to substantiate them if they're true. So - from a strictly moral point of view - they should reasonably have been aware of Spacey's issues before now.
So my question is: if it would be morally faulty for Netflix to continue making the show knowing Spacey's behavior, was it not also morally faulty for them to do so when they started making House of Cards? What has changed, from a moral point of view, for Netflix?

Clearly people have known and have been happy to protect predators until it hurts their bottom line
