Your benevolent sexism analogy would work only if Gal said that in reference to a kissing scene with a male actor. I don't think most people would find it creepy or in any way comparable to child rape, if a male actor said the same thing Gal said, about a kissing scene with another male actor.

Sure, because homosexuality is treated like a joke. Thus, the threat of same sex harassment isn't taken seriously either. That just makes it benevolent homophobia if anything.
