Yeah, that leaked picture caused a surprising amount of wank (mostly because one girl posted to an_cafe wondering if it would be okay to show Yuuki the pic during an autograph session or something. A bunch of people thought it would be creepy, and a whole other post was made to bash the people who thought it would be creepy. There was also a 'Let's randomly buy Yuuki a Keytar' thing that caused minor arguing).

My favourite, of course, was the Wedday rumor (because seriously, half the people in the fandom can't use their brain and figure out when something is a joke).

Honestly, you might be better off staying out of the fandom. It's a semi-abusive love/hate thing for me.

You thought it was surprising? I'm pretty sure everybody wanted to know what he looked like, so it was inevitable that wank arose from it. I would maaayybe have told him about the picture, that it existed but I wouldn't show it to him, or let the community know.

I've no idea what the keytar and Wedday rumours are so if you could explain them both a little I'd be grateful. I don't go into fandoms because I don't feel I'd fit in rather than to avoid wank. I love wank really.

The Wedday rumor: There was some uber-indie VK band named Wedday that had a member who looked like Bou. Some regulars of batsu.org thought it would be funny to make a new topic, saying Wedday was Bou's new band. Despite the fact that it obviously wasn't, there were about 10-12 pages of stupid fangirl distress, sarcasm, and trolling. Meanwhile, it leaked to a bunch of other sites, and caused some drama there too.

the Keytar one: A bunch of people wanted to raise money to buy and send Yuuki a Keytar so he could move around on stage and stuff. Some fans thought this was a bad idea and said so - which would have been fine, except no one could agree to disagree until the mods stepped in.

So yeah, not as bad as Diru and Gazette or anything. =P But I definitely get my fair share of amusement out of it.

OHHH that, yeah I remember that. I thought that rumour was quickly put to rest? Really though, people should know better about taking anything on batsu seriously. That all said I've done a similar thing like that myself only what I did got much bigger but caused very little public wank. Shame. It's a nice idea that some fans wanted to send him a keytar but I'm pretty sure it would take more than a couple dozen fangirls donating $10 before they reached their target.

I doubt any band could have more wank surrounding them than those two bands, no matter what they did. There isn't enough time in the world to catch up ahhaha. Also why did you delete your comment just to go anon?

I'm a mod at in two An Cafe related places on the interweb - I'm supposed to keep peace, not enjoy the wank and befriend trolls. Not that this makes me all that important, I'm just a little paranoid and feel a little safer bitching about people in the fandom anonymously.

I thought I knew your name from somewhere. Makes sense you'd want to keep your identity a secret. I'm definitely no troll, and while I do love wank sometimes I really wish that the whole fandom could get along nicely.
