Why are we being forced to choose between "WE DO NOT SPEAK ITS NAME" and "OMG CONTEXT FUCK YOU GUYS?"

Dude. It's both.

Part of context is historical and social context, and who is saying what, to whom, and at what time.

Okay, here, let me just clear this up for everyone:

Don't use words that you know are slurs with people you don't know, especially on the 'net.

Is that so hard, or are people going to keep whining about OMG BUT SOMEONE ONCE CALLED ME A CRACKEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEER?

Also, no one gives a fuck about your gay friends and what you call them. How you treat your fucking friends is not how you treat random people you don't know very well.

...?

It's in response to all the people being like "I call my gay friends faggots all the time, so that means I can call everyone a fag because I have the official universal stamp of gay friend approval!"

Completely unrelated to the secret- I just had to fangirl the icon. <3 It's adorable. (Yes, I know the words 'Hojo' and 'adorable' don't belong together, but I did it anyway. :3 ) Pencil art FTW. Who drew it?

Ashley Cope of casualvillain (http://www.casualvillain.com) fame. This particular icon is from an illustration for one of her fics.
