So like... I'm not entirely clear what you mean here? I definitely don't think that what you're saying is true of all people who dislike Moffat's writing, but it kind of seems like you might be talking more specifically about people who are really intense or unreasonable about it? Not sure.

Yep, I'm talking about the haters and only them. I don't have anything against people who dislike Moffat's writing but aren't haters, to each their own.

What about people who dislike his writing so much they become haters? Where does "to each their own" end and "this author / director is legitimately not good and worthy of scorn to me" begin?

Don't you have creators who've let you down so much that you just started to hate their work and want to avoid anything else they do? I don't support actually attacking directors online or off, would never troll him or anything, but yes, I really do hate his work and what he's done and I really do not want to watch anything he's had a part in ever again. His "jokes on you, it doesn't have to make sense!" style of writing is just over for me.

FWIW I don't believe in "death of the author" but if I did i'd say I hate "Moffat-style" work.
