That's a really sweet idea and sounds like a lot of fun. :) I feel so bad for all the pets in our neighbourhood this time of year. One of my best friends has a Whippet/Lurcher that spends nearly every night shaking and trying to hide behind the toilet around Bonfire night. If it was just a night or two it'd be better, but people here seem to buy fireworks in bulk and let them off for at least two weeks after. :(

It was like that in our old town, too :( We have a calming shirt for our dog and we do the loud tv, distract with play, etc., but it just isn't enough when kids are setting off fireworks during the days and every night for weeks. It really ought to be just Bonfire Night/the closest Saturday.

Ugh, poor thing. Would be so much easier to just get it all done in a night or two. :( My friend is stressing about even letting her off her lead at the moment. We have some old cannons at the castle ruins by the beach and they randomly decided to test them one day and the poor dog just bolted. Took me nearly three hours to find her and she had somehow managed to cross two busy main roads by herself, which was a miracle.
