I blame reading VC Andrews as a preteen lol. I used to sneak the hardcovers from my mom's bookshelf and hide them under other bookjackets. (Although why my mom even had them I've never understood because I think I've seen her read maybe one book over the course of my entire life.)

I did not ship them but I cannot see them as relatives (not in biological way, just psychological) as their plot was absolutely bonkers and all that (considering she was Amy's BFF first).

Oh man I've had a few surprise incest ships too, but I just laughed and carried on shipping them anyway since I was already there.

I can imagine it being a bummer if you don't like them at all though.

It could be worse. You could be an artist who says they will never, ever draw gay male art, but have no problem with lesbians and het incest

I'm just trying to find out why the artist is perfectly fine with drawing lesbians and het, but refuses to draw gay males.
