sorry anon I typed a lot and I'm too tired to go into it again, I'll just tl;dr and say that some people thought Joyce's character was diminished somehow and I...didn't really get that at all. Idk.

Joyce was more prominent and did awesome. I mean what the hell?

I can MAYBE see the argument with Max, but it wasn't so much that she was a girl as Mike thoight the group was trying to replace El.
