is there a resource center near you? I know not everywhere has this but my state has a nonprofit agency that works with the department of labor...they offer workshops and resume reviews for free

I am looking but don't see one. I might be able to go to where my sister lives. She lives in a much larger city.

You might try looking at the website for your state's unemployment department.
