A lot of people aren't necessarily truly complaining about cities and technology.

More, they're complaining about other people doing it wrong. They like the convenience, but don't like the downsides, especially the ones where other people are trying to take advantage of those conveniences at the same time. Like, drives would be so much nicer of no one else was on the road with you, going to a grocery store whenever you wanted would be so much nicer if the aisles were never blocked by someone else you never had to stand in line, and going to a restaurant would be so much nicer if you never had to wait for a table or a server.

Yeah, I do live in the country (town of 250 people) but I certainly don't shit in the woods or hunt my own food. It's much nicer here as long as you don't like shopping in stores (I don't) or have a medical crisis (whoops.)

I've lived in small towns and large cities and it doesn't matter where you are, people will always find something to complain about. There is no perfect place to live, all of them have good points and bad points. There's always trade-offs.

It would be awesoeme if no one ever got in my way, but living in a community with other people means constantly being inconvemnienced by others, while simutaneously inconvenencing them. That's life. I wish more people understood that, especially the part where they are just as much a part of the problem, so it all evens out and they should calm the hell down.

I love how everyone always complains about other drivers like they themselves are never part of the problem. I do it too, I feel like it's kind of a natural, but I do actually realize that I'm not a perfect driver myself and I don't think some people ever get to that realization and everyone should because no one, no one is a perfect driver all of the time. That holds for other things too, and like you wrote, people should calm down about it.
