The sheer amount of people getting their panties in a twist over this is incredible.
I didn't like the first episode of the show, either. So, I quit watching it. Admittedly, I don't go around talking about how much the show sucks, but I have made it clear to people encouraging me to watch it that I'm just not interested. If these comments are anything to go by, even not liking the show is a cardinal sin.
Guess what? I don't care if Simon grows up. I don't care if Kamina's death spurs him to greater heights. I'm still just plain not interested. Nothing about the show drew me in. I was bored through the entire first episode. And honestly, if a show hasn't snagged me by the end of episode 1, it's probably never going to, and I quit right then. Why is this such a problem? It's how I watch all anime, so it's not like I'm just anti-TTGL or anything.
Seriously, guys, wow. Heaven forbid someone not like something.
P.S.: They are still allowed an opinion. Just because you disagree with it or find it dumb doesn't mean they don't have a right to voice it!
