101. That's a sweet thought.

102. I used to wish I could be a Pokemon trainer, but then I thought of all the GIANT BUGS and changed my mind. :(

120. Gurren Lagann is a mecha parody, so it kind of falls flat if you're not familiar with the genre. I always liked Kamina and that line because it's so silly and over the top, and I figure it's used half-jokingly. And in the end, Kamina does tell Simon to believe in himself.

125. I CAN'T UNSEE IT.

128. Why not? MGS is great, but it still makes fun of itself. You get a serious, dramatic cutscene and then someone spends 10 minutes shitting their pants. Also that is one of the best OT3s ever.

131. MGS4 is the first MGS game I've ever played, and even I thought Snake/Otacon was obvious. I think Kojima might ship it.

139. I don't have any IRL friends that like anime, either. I've tried to meet other people who like it, but they've all been... either creeeepy or weaboo fangirls.

141. If you screw up, the best you can do is apologize profusely and lay low for a while. Fandom (and the internet in general) doesn't forget easily, especially since it's so easy to go back and revisit things.

MGS4 was just full of so much fanservice. Opening of Act Four is the biggest moment of nostalgia I've ever had.

I plan on it, I just need to find that collection thing they released a while back with all the previous games. I did have a friend who'd played them all fill me in on the big stuff, so I wasn't going in completely blind. I only gave MGS4 a try in the first place because I was lured in by the pretty graphics. I wish now I'd have played the other games when they came out. :|

I'll be honest and say I haven't watched the show myself, but I always thought that the line was saying "Believe if yourself", but in a roundabout way. Since you're believing in someone else that believes in you, anyway...something like that.

Well, it's kind of... Like doing something because someone believes in you, and trying hard because you don't want to let them down, even though you don't have confidence in yourself. In the beginning, Simon doesn't have much self-confidence so Kamina tells him to "Believe in me who believes in you." Later on he goes back on what he said and tells Simon to believe in himself in an effort to make Simon less dependent on him.
