OMG YES. Paul gave out what, three handshakes the first episode alone? And several more over the season, it's ridiculous.

My theory is that they're trying to make the new show look good. IMO, this season seemed more exaggerated than usual, like Paul and Prue saying that some rounds were soooooo close when... LOL, no they weren't.

Yes! Paul has always been my least favourite, but this season really cemented that. Very few of those handshakes were earned, and definitely not this one. And I also think Liam was eliminated for a SHOCK! elimination for increased publicity. He did have a bad week but it wasn't *that* bad by the standards of the others in this round, and he was far more interesting than Stacey. (Also, at the time, than Kate, but she really picked up in the last three rounds.)
