What is everyone doing this weekend?

I didn't get the jobs I interviewed for so I am going to mope around this weekend. I might make some brownies or something to keep myself busy. Other than that, chores.

At the risk of sounding like my dad, stay safe and preferably have friends you trust with you just in case you need assistance. Most of all, have fun! I've never tried it but it sounds like a blast.

I'll be popping out to pick up the shiny Sylvally code for Pokemon. Then working on cosplays for the rest of the weekend. Hoping to get a breastplate for one costume done and the trims and sewing for another by Monday.

I'm going to a NaNoWriMo write-in tomorrow morning, then heading over to my friend's to binge-watch Stranger Things 2. On Sunday, I'm going to be writing and cooking in the morning, then I'm heading to my grandmother's 105th birthday lunch. After that I'm going to hang out with my friends and their cats.

Ah, that sucks. :( Keep at it though, something will pop up! We've just got two new staff members so I'll probably be training them up. Also my new housemate is playing a gig at a local bar Saturday night so will be going to cheer him on.

As for me it's going to be a gloriously lazy weekend, nothing much to do except for some laundry and bumming about. It's gonna be great.

I'd really like to get some cleaning done so that the place isn't a pig sty when family comes for Thanksgiving. Other than that, hopefully watching some Stranger Things and making more progress on my yuletide fic.

I don't know what I'm going to do yet. I've got some days off for the first time in months.

My gf was/is like a total Good Religious Daughter type and she's been sort of poking at me about partying and drugs and stuff. Like "what does being high feel like?" and things like that. idk I mean I know that she's curious and she's never been able to experiment before and like I'm totally down with tracking down some molly or whatever and showing her a good time....... But I also feel like such a bad dude, corrupting her innocence or whatever.

So my tentative plan is to do that? Maybe?

It's my family's tradition to go to this small town a couple weeks before Thanksgiving and spend the weekend and just hang out and shop and eat at this really good restaurant, so we're doing that this weekend. Should be fun!

I have the weekend off, I'm happy to say. I have no big plans. I'm going to watch some anime and read. I might go to the movies tomorrow and see The Florida Project.

Sorry about the jobs and good luck on the continuing hunt. I’m gonna buy some potting soil and a couple small replacement parts for my shower and bathtub, stock up on chicken food, and try to nurse one of my old hens back to health, poor bugger had surgery to empty her impacted crop—where chickens store food until it heads to the stomach and gizzard—today. I gave her some smushed up boiled egg and she ate it, so I’m cautiously optimistic.

Along with most of the 400 or so members of my school's combined choirs, I'm going to sing at the halftime show at tomorrow's football game. I don't even know who my school is playing--all I know is that we get to sing with Simon Estes. I am excited.

And on Sunday I'm going to a performance of Lillian Hellman's The Children's Hour, and then to a friend's senior recital.

There's nothing really out in terms of movies this week, at least not in my area, so I have some cleaning and reading to get done.

I'll probably watch some more of Stranger Things 2 as well.

I'm waiting for big news this weekend. It's over a week over due so I'm really on edge.
