I don't exactly HATE it, but I don't really like wine.

I'm female, and apparently women are OBSESSED with wine. I don't get it. Why wine specifically (as opposed to other kinds of alcohol)?

I've always personally felt that wine is more mellow and flavorful compared to other forms of alcohol. IDK. Not to say that other forms of alcohol are bad, just that I've always felt that's a big difference.

I feel the same, though I hate alcohol in general.

Red wine reductions and the like are horrible. Everyone always says you can’t taste the alcohol in them, but I call fucking bullshit. If anything has even the slightest bit of alcohol, I taste it as if I’ve dumped a 6-pack or something right on my head.

Wine is just cheap and easy, I guess. No mixing involved and it's not as bitter/sour tasting as beer.

I've noticed this too, like a weird surge of women in particular going on and on about wine and joking about how much they drink. It seems to be this way of bragging that you're drunk and such a wastoid but not in a bad way because wine is classy, I guess? No clue.
